Third time’s a charm! Once again, Danny Bader proves his writing skills as he enlightens his readers through this story, entwined with characters whose lives are challenged. Throughout the book, I pictured myself, and others I know, during various parts of the book. I’m sure many readers can envision themselves facing some of the same challenges met by the characters. The wisdom and insight provided in the book allow one to reflect, think, and perhaps make a few positive changes in their own lives.

Patrick is an executive with a large consulting firm. He’s a busy man… very busy and very stressed. Then one rainy weekend morning he walks into Abraham’s Diner and his life is never the same. Crossing paths with Abraham sets Patrick on a journey that begins by acknowledging that “busy and stressed” is not his desired state of existence. Follow Patrick as he gains better clarity in his life by applying simple ideas like learning how to control his email in-box (instead of the other way around), separating what he merely wants from what he desires, and creating a vision that he can make come true.

Once again, Danny Bader comes through with a winner book! This quick read is sure to inspire the reader to get motivated to reorganize a few life changes and provides definitive methods to de-clutter and focus on the necessities in life.

The author uses an engaging short story to package a blueprint for focusing on what really matters most for you. I liked how his energy and time management pearls laid the foundation for higher level concepts such as beliefs and vision. Most self-help books that I read (Most a lot longer than 90 minutes) have no concrete action coming out of them. This human performance book is different. It motivated me to rethink, rework, and clarify what is important to me and get laser-focused on what really matters.
